Ball- oder Hoffächer, aus Gaze mit Pailletten bestickt in Form einer Masche. Die Ballonform - die mittleren Stäbe sind höher als die seitlichen - ist typisch für Fächer der vorigen Jahrhundertwende. Die Perlmuttstäbe haben eine "barocke" Form und sind mit Goldornamenten verziert. In der Mitte ist ein kleines Freiherren-Krönchen. Der Fächer stammt aus Adelsbesitz. ca. 1905, Österreich (?)

Ball or court fan, made of gauze and embroidered with sequins and spangles that form a bow. The balloon type fan - central sticks are longer than lateral sticks - is typical for the last turn of the century. The sticks are made of mother of pearl, in a "baroque" form, and decorated with gold and silver ornaments. In the centre, a small baron's coronet is carved. The fan was owned by Austrian aristocrats. approx. 1905, Austria (?)
